Vijayadasami Festival in
Kumbakonam Temples 

  

Kumbakonam is a popular tourist
town, 300 km south of Chennai in South India.This southern semi-urban town,
engulfed in Temples, is famous for tourism activities. Kumbakonam Temples
are very old and full of sculptures and through out the year the Kumbakonam
Temples are having the festivals. Vijayadasami is also celebrate in the
Ramaswamy Temple, Sarangapani Temple, Chakrapani Temple and so on.  All the temples perform this festival with
Hourse vehicle (Kuthirai Vahanam).
